Training

Scope International USA has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) with 1 ½ -2 years on-site monitoring experience to take the next step in their career and join our growing US team.  The position will be home-based, preferably located in the Western US with mostly regional travel. Job Description

As a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) at SCOPE, you will have a key role in the success of clinical trials. You will be the primary contact and support for trial sites, ensuring that the study is conducted according to the protocol, ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

You will:

  • Perform clinical trial site evaluation, initiation, routine monitoring and close out visits.
  • Review and ensure Investigator Site Files (ISFs) are up to date and collect essential documents for the Trial Master File (TMF)
  • Ensure proper handling, accountability and reconciliation of all Investigational Product(s) and clinical trial supplies
  • Prepare and submit trip reports according to project timelines.
  • Oversee and support sites with subject recruitment and retention strategies
  • Interact directly with sites, including clinical investigators and other health care professionals involved in the clinical trial to maintain a positive rapport and ensure project expectations are met.
  • Serve as a mentor to junior CRAs, occasionally on-site training and co-monitoring visits as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in a life science or healthcare related field.
  • 1-2 years of on-site monitoring experience required
  • Preference for candidates with experience in Women’s Health, but all therapeutic indications will be considered.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 80%, depending on project needs.
  • Good knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and applicable regulations.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.

Position may be office or regionally based, depending on project needs and candidate qualifications.

We are looking for a Clinical Research Associate in Barcelona, Spain

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Organization, coordination, administrative management and monitoring of clinical trials (phase I – IV), non-interventional studies, medical device studies according to ICH/GCP guidelines
  • Data review and source data verification
  • Ensure investigator compliance with protocol, study procedures, regulatory requirements and timelines
  • Interact directly with clinical sites, including clinical investigators and other health care professionals involved in the clinical study and maintain a positive rapport with each site
  • Collection of essential documents from site applicable for submission and trial master file
  • Oversight and support of sites with recruitment and retention strategies and perform motivational visits if needed
  • Site management and remote monitoring in order to support investigational sites

  • Solve problems and act pro-actively

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Medical/ nursing or life science degree
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in clinical monitoring
  • Monitoring in different indications and study types; experience with cancer trials or medical devices is preferable
  • Good knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and all applicable local regulations
  • Excellent organization and communication skills

  • Support of the Project Management Team in administration, organization and coordination of logistic aspects in international clinical trials according to ICH/GCP guidelines, laws and regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Support of the Project Management Team in supervision of project specific procedures
  • Assistance with set-up and maintenance of study specific documentation (trial master file) and tracking tools
