Eastern Europe
The Eastern Europe health care system is highly centralised. Large and homogenous patient populations are easily accessible and high recruitment rates can be achieved. Additionally, Eastern European countries are areas with a high number of treatment naive patients. All these countries, both EU and non EU members, have implemented the EU GCP directive in their national laws. Additionally, both investigators as well as patients are highly motivated in participating in clinical trials.
